About us

Having developed several different websites, including Ecommerce sites, Free utility sites and several information sites, I found myself using a combination of 5 different tools to get some of the information I needed.

  • Who was looking at my site?
  • Where were they coming from?
  • What pages were they looking at?
  • How could I get more visitors?
  • Were my changes improving my search engine positioning?

To get this information, I end up using 3 difference site stat websites and wrote 3 report pages myself.

The problem I found with javascript based page monitors, is that they miss search engines, non javascript enabled visitors and some will flag up security alerts for visitors on your secure pages (just what you need when somebody is about to make a purchase).

Therefore, I decided to write a PHP based web page monitor where I could combine all my tools and develop them further. I could provide the standard features for free, by adding some further advanced features for a small fee. By writing the code with efficiency in mind, I could provide this for a lower cost than most of the competitors, yet try to provide the best service.

By keeping the client code simple, yet gathering all the information I need, I can continue to develop the website and add more features all the time.
